Pricing
All of
our lumber is priced by the board foot ( BD FT ) in rough thickness: 12" x 12" x 1" = one BD FTOur lumber is surfaced on 3 sides (S3S) to: 1/2", 3/4", 1 1/4", 1 3/4".
Lumber pricing example:
5" x 96" x 3/4" Poplar ( $3.25 per BD FT )
Increase the width of the board to the next inch for the ripped edge.
6" x 96" = 672" divided by 144 ( 12" x 12" x 1" ) = 4.00 BD FT
Multiply the board footage, (4.0) x price per BD FT $3.25 = $13.00
For 1 1/4" boards, increase the width one and a half times, example 5" = 9"
For 2" boards, increase the width two times, example 5" = 12"
